: #'s?
From reading the east ftoy even thread and Werock wanting a number...
I'm assuming we use our chassis numbers but
what are we supposed to be doing as far as numbers on out ftoys? Any specific place or size they need to be?
And Hobie don't forget the needed sponsor stickers for us guys who don't have any yet. :)
Looking forward to Goldendale, this is going to be fun.
i dont have a number on my ftoy....but its a good idea.
YELLOWHOBO 05-17-2007, 07:02 PM Ive seen some guys write their number in felt tip marker on the side panel!!!!
benttoy 05-17-2007, 08:04 PM we buy the 5in, numbers from the local motorcycle shop
Thanks for the motorbike shop tip. I'll have to go check a couple shops out.
Brian Ellinger 05-19-2007, 09:16 PM Your team # is not assosiacted with the chassis number. Each team has a number. Slowspeed in 54, jason paule is 000 scott is 8 etc.
mtbrjon 05-20-2007, 05:31 AM I think we chose our own number and I picked my chassis number because I really didn't care and thought it would be easy to remember. I think having the numbers on the rigs is a good idea for officials to recognize the rigs but more so for people that see pics of the events to be able to identify rigs and put names/faces/rigs together. This could only be good for our class and keep those in the build process involved as well as help keep the interest of potential builders/drivers.

but those guys aren't in the ftoy class:flipoff2:
I thought everyone in the "ftoy" class was running the chassis number as their team number? Is this not true?
Thats how everything is written out in the results and on the ftoy website.
Brian Ellinger 05-20-2007, 01:10 PM Doesnt matter. Werock needs a team number. They cant have two #XXX just because it matches your chassis production #.
http://www.we-rock.cc/teams.php
according to this it seems the teams are running their chassis numbers, but with a "FT" prefix to their chassis #'s similar to the rhino class's "RTV" prefix and the number
benttoy 05-20-2007, 02:34 PM F-TOYS use their frame number for their comp number Pook your no. would be 032

:D Looks like I stand corrected. Ive never seen that prefix deal before.
desertoy 05-21-2007, 12:10 PM If your chassis # conflicts with another team they just ask that you add an "F". So my number is F028.

I'm going to just add the "f" right away. :)
How big are the stickers we are required to run? and they all must be on the side panels right?
desertoy 05-21-2007, 05:31 PM I think WE Rock has a size that they want but I can't remember what it is. It's in there list of rules though. I know mine is 2" on both side panels.
