Title pretty much gets it. If you are a rock crawler (Qualified by 5+ or 10's on both rating scales for trails), with a wheel base of 100-110", How high is your belly pan, skids, center or break over point???? I got around 9" of lift.

I think I am a little high in a big rig and could lower it some by raising spring/shock mounts. No fenders so I got room for the wheels to travel up! 39.5 Iroks.

The best belly clearance height depends on wheels size, but most hard core guys are running 40" tires with a belly clearance of 28"-30" works great. Down-travel is more important than up-travel.

39.5 boggers with a 21" belly here, 108" WB.... front susp has 8.5" droop, 5.5" comp at static height, rear has 5" droop, 7" comp at static.

21" belly height on 38's, 3" of lift on an EB. I'm shooting for no suspension lift on my wife's, with 36" Iroks. I'll be using 3" lift springs, but raising the mounts making everything nice and low with lots of flex potential.

Build good skid plates, and keep it nice and low.

Low GOG is your friend. That said, your ride height doesn't look exceptionally ridiculous. I'd say run it if it works on your trails. You start dumping it over or on its side then lower it.

the lowest point on my truck with rockwells and 42's is ~22" depending on my tools and occupants.

I dont know of many people running 28"-30" under the belly:eek: With 40's 20" under the belly is good with a flat smooth skid plate..

I currently am running a 113" wheel base, 3" farther than what you asked for. I am running 23" belly and a total hieght of 78". I am running full width axles and the buggy is only 52" at its widest point. I have figured my CG point is about 30". I am running 39.5" IROKS.

Thanks for the replies! The responses I got here and another board range from 20 to 25" My rig is at about 25". I think it is a little high but I will wait till I wheel it more. It will get a four link rear later and I will probably wait until then to lower it a 3 or 4".
