I thought this would be a good place to consolidate links on the Upper Tellico ORV area. That way people can get the info they need to plan their trip all in one thread. Here's what I got so far...

iv filled big BBQ tanks there so i don't know why he wouldn't fill a larger tank.

edit: one of my Friends just told me that he might have stopped filling tanks so I'm not 100% sure

Dang it. Anyone else filled propane tanks down there recently? I will have three tanks with me, but I'll do through 1.5 of them per day.

Yup, if the mods want to clean it up and stick it, I think that would be helpful for everyone.

Cherokee Scout called this weekend to see what we were doing out here since the Jeep Jamboree has officially been canceled. The reporter said that the folks he has talked to at the FS stated that their assessment will be completed and released in early August this year.
Funny, how Jeep Jamboree being canceled sparks an article, I wonder if that is because the majority of that event is held in town and most stay at the Days Inn. I told the reporter that was bad news to the local businesses. However, the worst part was not the cancellation of that one event, it has been the dozen or so large events and thousands of visitors not associated with events that haven't been here this year. Not to mention the ones that won't be here in the usually busy fall season that a majority of the businesses count on to get through those tough winter months.
I feel like shaking them by the neck!
