Well, my weekend started on Thursday when I got "let go." October of last year I started what I thought was my new career a great job becoming a 911 dispatcher. Well, I have been in "on floor" training since last December and last Thursday was the end. I was substandard in two catagories and my training time was up, no if/ands/or buts. Sucked big time!! Life's been kinda turned on it's ear, thought I had i figured out, but now back to square one.:(:(

Friday, just kinda took it easy all day didn't do much.

Saturday: Went over to the parent's house and met their new dog. It's an almost 2 year old German Sheppard. He's not all filled out yet and already tops 95 pounds. Just a big sweetheart and mellow as can be. He does have one big bark and lets you know it when you come in the house. It's great to see, my parents have been looking for a sheppard since March, and they finally found the right dog for them. The afternoon was spent at the IHSTO Spring Fling BBQ and IHC-6's place. As usuall good times were had by all. I got to take his new Jag for a spin. It's a 180 from my Scout I can tell you that. First time in a Jag, hope it won't be my last.

Sunday: Spent the majority of the day cleaning up my mess in Dad's garage. Up until Thursday I had planned to rebuild the 392 for my pickup so parts were kinda strewn about. Dad's trying to get my Mom's 80 sanded out and ready for paint and since the engine rebuild in on the back burner I needed to get it picked up. The Grandparents came over to meet the new dog and Grandpa came and helped Dad in the garage. It was actually pretty special to have my Dad, his Dad and me out in the garage just BS'ing and passing the time.

All things considered not a bad weekend, just a shitty start to it.

Drove the big dump truck all day on overtime for Saturday.

Took the Scout for a drive for a few hours with the stereo cranked up of course. Then went to mom's to do my laundry.
I gotta get my own washer and dryer soon :(

Nice to see you come back. Looks like the Scout has gone through a few changes.

My weekend consisted of trailer maintenance the first part of Saturday, and moving my junk from one bedroom to another took the rest of the weekend.

First weekend in a long time that I didn't have to go anywhere or do anything. Damn it was nice! Just went up to the lake and hung out with friends.

Sorry to hear about your predicament Diesel.

Finished my 2wd T-19 Wide to 4wd T-19 Wide conversion - parts swap-o-rama. I figure with chasing parts and screwing stuff up I have close to 25 hours into it!! Geez I suck! Glad I wasn't paying for this.

I test drove it last night -- Sweet! All the gears worked - shifted fine -
goes s....l....o....w.... Finally!

Diesel Smoke ---- Look into surveying for your next career. You can have my job!

No Scout progress again... I think I can officially say that not only has my Scout been moved to the back burner(again) but the pilot light isn't even lit.

Nothing Scout related this weekend but did get some stuff done to the wife's dd cherokee. Water pump, new radiator hoses/heater hoses, thermostat, flushed the system, changed the oil, and rotated the tires. Also troubleshot and fixed a wireing problem under the dash.

Monday after work I did do a bit of work on the Scout. Put the first coat of POR15 on the floorboard crossmembers before the new floor goes down. Also started removing the rear wheelwell and planning out its replacement.

I got a bitchin' torch to fire that pilot light back up. :flipoff2:

No Scout progress for me. Leveled a pad for my neighbor's 18' pool and hauled in sand to make the pad. 1st load was a ton, the CTD didn't even know it was in the bed. That only covered about 1/3 of the pad site so, when I went back for the second load I had the loader operator put 2 tons on. At first he was hesitant, but he did it anyway. I still had about 2" of spring travel left before the overloads engaged. :D

Anyway, after moving 6000+ lbs of sand with a scoop shovel, I was pretty much done with any heavy activity for the weekend and just fucked off for the rest of it.

Once I get around to selling the 47 tons of extra Scout parts I have laying around on ebay I should have the fundage to fire up the front burner.

 Thanks for the heads up. There is an angency a little south of here who has expressed interest and will be hiring in a few months. I think I am going to go for it. Now I just need to figure how I am going to live for the next few months, and through the hire process which takes another couple of months. Sounds like it's time to see if any of the local autoparts places are hiring and get my clown suit out of storage.

I'm getting there...I haven't done anything to this truck since I swapped in the wide ratio last August. I've since built two other trucks...gotta love ADD.

I added some more bars to the top. Clicky here for pics. (http://www.binderbulletin.org/forums/showpost.php?p=331336&postcount=129)

Shit, you got the prime candidate. 2wd, kinda beat, 12 valve. Since I sell Radflo now, let's bolt on some 14" triple bypasses and go racing!

Actually Carl, I'm gonna start developing a 2" leveling/coil over conversion for new dodges, using some sweet radflo's 2.5" w/remote resis. So, we might be pre-running before too long. Pre-running what, I don't know but it will be cool!
