okay, your going to say why didn't i just swap the knuckles? because i put a 14 bolt in the rear..but anyways, its all in and everything, but my right caliper is being a bitch...when i hit the brakes i cut to the left...
could the 6 lug caliper fit or is the 8 lug rotor too thick?
i just moutned my 37"s which i love!!! and don't feel like fucking with bolts again...i know rubbing alcohol is an option..

Yes, the Caliper will fit, but they may have different bore sizes.
If that is even the question you're asking. Not sure WTF rubbing alcohol has to do with anything. Other than the caliper question, I have absolutely no idea what you're saying.

Sounds to me like he's responding to a thread, but started another one instead.
I'm just as confused.

you probably jammed the caliper piston on the pside when you compressed it to slide of the larger rotors. they are dirt ass cheap $13 with a core exchange at any parts store.

wow sorry i was so out of it yesterday...
anyways, they should fit? i guess i have to yank a tire off and find out...
and the rubbing alcohol, to clean the rotors off and protect it from any brake fluid..
so what are the chances it will fit.

Oh, I guarantee that it'll fit, but you have to change them both. If they are different bore sizes, and that's a very real possibility, then it will pull to one side like nobody's business.

yeah i got you..so they will fit? I KNEW IT! my cousin kept saying no no the 8 lug rotor is thicker. i was like no it isn't! actualyl we adjusted my t.v. cable and got the truck moving and working fine, but the brakes are getting better..i guess by next wednesday i'll know for def. (my permit) and i'll drive for like an hour and see if it still cuts.
thanks dahoyle and everyone else.
