i was wondering if anyone would know of problems to be faced when changing from an automatic tranny to a manual and how they can be solved anything would be helpfull already measured the trannys and the manual is 3 inches shorter than the auto so would i need to find a different drive shaft between the tranny and carrier bearing or should i just go with a one piece driveshaft.

What vehicle, motor, and tranny setup?
I swapped the auto out of my '90 V-6 Runner over to a stick and it was damn near bolt in.
You have to drill three holes in the firewall to mount the clutch master cylinder, and you need the pedal bracketry out of a stick shift to mount the clutch pedal. The hole in the floor for the shifter will have to be enlarged using the shifter boot plate as a template. The Park/Neutral switch will have to be bypassed, and the reverse lights wired to the backup light switch on the side of the tranny, which is easy if you yanked the plug for it out of the donor vehicle.
The T-case mount is most likely in a different position. I built a crossmember out of 1/4 and 1/8 inch flatstock which saved ground clearance over the stock crossmember and allowed me to raise the T-case about an inch.
My stock driveshafts work, yours seem like they won't. I would ditch the two piece rear for a one piece to simplify the setup.
Good luck
