: Asshole tech
crazy davey 06-02-2002, 02:16 AM How many guys on this bb are not assholes! There is a great wealth of experiance here but it seems like nobody wants to share it. It seems like anytime anyone asks a question everyone would rather waste time by being dickheads instead of answering the god dam question. Most everybody knows you guys know your shit and have built some of the best rigs out there,so why not share it? I have always heard that fags, a.k.a butt pirates dont like to share! So instead of posting 48 times about how much of a retard the guy is for being a newbie, just answer the fawking question and be done with it! just remember that everyone has to start out somewhere, and if you dont want them posting here then you should have a private BB,or meet at the local gay bar and talk about all the mods you did over the winter and be done with it!:flipoff2:
TODDK 06-02-2002, 02:48 AM DAMN DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE FLAMED THAT BAD....
WELCOME NEWBIE GET READY....
:flipoff2:
Rick 601 06-02-2002, 03:28 AM I'm a newbie you're an asshole; you also seem to have a problem with your sexuality. Your jeep must be allright cause you didn't have a question...if you own one.
xBabyJesus 06-02-2002, 03:40 AM Ask your newbie fucking questions on another board, there are _plenty_ of boards for people just starting on their rigs. This is the one and ONLY board for people trying to build the most advanced rigs, with highly technical questions. 38" tires and front-rear lockers are the NORM on this board. If you don't like it, get the fuck out.
Use the search button, this has been covered :flipoff2:
Jekyll 06-02-2002, 03:44 AM Those that have been here for a while are tired of seeing the same simple questions being asked all the time and they tend to take it personally. But I still wonder why some folks get all fired up and exert more effort flaming and criticizing rather than ignoring or simply answering a question.
Which also makes me wonder...if everyone with more than 100 posts already knows everything, what are they doing here if they don't have any more questions and don't want to answer any more questions?
Yes, everyone has to start out somewhere, but most don't realize this isn't the place if you're just starting out. Many questions can be answered by using the search. And many can't, because as you've noticed, most threads turn into a smart race or argument and the question never gets answered.
I've been lurking here for 2-3 years. I've got my damn search button worn out trying to find answers. I've found everything I need, either here or somewhere on the 'net. People should take time to figure out most things on their own. Were not building rockets.
Sometimes this place really takes the fun out of 4-wheelin'

rkcrawl 06-02-2002, 06:50 AM I think you need to read this (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1456)
Then go here (http://www.jeepsunlimited.com)
There is plenty of good tech on this site. Listen to Jekyll, lurk, read and learn. Search! THEN ASK, and STOP your NEWBIE whining.:flipoff2:  :D

i think this is the private BB you are talking about, so leave and go to JU, and you talk about not posting technical information, then what the fawk do u call all this bitching that you are doing:flipoff2:

Well said Jekyll,
I for one am more than willing to help out but I am NOT going to retype the same tech info over and over again just because somebody didn't take the time to search. If they do search and found some of the information they are looking for and then as for us to elaborate we are more than happy help.
Almost every 4x4 topic has been discussed on this BB from the most simple to the most extreme, spend some time looking first and we will spend some time answering...
Later...
:usa:
Monkeyboy 06-02-2002, 08:50 AM The BB goes throught this every once in a while.
I believe this ignoring and heckling the idiots is a self cleaning property.
Many of us who have been here for numerous years don't reallly feel like posting every time a subject pops up like choosing a dana 44. or how do I put my dana 44 on my rig.
we all have examples we all have opinions just search for them.
Maybe you will survive this BB cleansing maybe you won't:flipoff2:

 Hmmm I never had a bad experience trying to get tech on this board......but of course i don't ask dumb ass questions like "Are there any assholes out there?"...You dumb shit of course there are assholes out there,....The world is full of them....Get over it !.... pull your rig out of your ass and move on with your life! learn as much as you can, as far as the gay remarks that must be another example of your ignorance.....oh and welcome newbie:flipoff2:
larryboy 06-02-2002, 09:11 AM hey davey are you arguing on the net? or competing in the special olympics?
doctor_G 06-02-2002, 09:39 AM So what was your question, again?
You want to know how much to air down your 33 on a 16.5 rim?
I'm pulling a tube out of a RC60 right now, I can tell you what I know about it, IT SUCKS!
People are told to use the "search" for a good reason, it works!
Yeah I know it's not up close and personal but it still works.
Monkeyboy 06-02-2002, 09:51 AM Yes your jeep can be operated with the carpet removed:flipoff2:
You may want to call the dealer to see if the warranty is voided if you do so.
patooyee 06-02-2002, 11:11 AM Not only are newbie questions already covered under search, but so are pissy little newbie rants like this. I think we have a rant like this at least once a month. It's funny because, as if searching for the answer to their question in the first place wasn't bad enough, they aren't smart enough to do a search to see if this battle has already been fought! Kind of like an immigrant coming into the US and wanting to fight the Revolutionary War again because he thinks it's never been done. Oh well. Like someone said though, of course there's assholes! On the same hand, of course there's dumb-asses to go along with them!

Sillyneck 06-02-2002, 11:49 AM hahahah
no newbie response from crazy davey yet :D I'm guessing he's been trying to delete this thread for a while, but I digress, we have a newbie unwilling to search for the answers he so desires :D
BossBuilt 06-02-2002, 01:14 PM The funny thing is, when he posted his last tech Question he was begging to be flamed and got advise instead, so now everyones an asshole.
Dumb shit begs to be flamed click here (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=596943#post596943 )
I think there's something in the water up there.....Dave are you a friend of Mr4x4??:usa:
crazy davey 06-02-2002, 01:20 PM Great come backs guys! Cheers!I guess I will go work on buying a jeep liberty now, cause I dont know anything about that old jeep outside.:flipoff2: Yah right! Thanks again for all your input.;) :D :D :D :D
WillisXJ 06-02-2002, 01:31 PM I was once a Newbie...... oh shit, I still am :flipoff2:. I haven't seen any posts by experienced members that I would come out and say 'hey, that guy's an asshole'. The only assholes on this board seem to be the Newbies who come here straight from JU and ask some :rainbow: ass 'bling, bling' question. Most tech questions have been answered at one time or another, and all you need to do is search. Nothing in life comes easy. If you can't use the resources on hand, might as well have yourself committed, where you can shove your thumb up your ass and watch cartoons all day. :shaking: :crybaby2:

When did you see my TJ?
99% of that 500 meg of images are not my rig, I would have thought you to notice that, being that many are different colors and some not even Jeeps.
I would never say I have the most modified rig here, but then again I can drive and that can take you quite a few places in itself.
Another issue troll, where is your rig?
Let me guess....
Did you actually have a technical question here? I mean you act as though you would prefer us to be nicer and share the wealth but you haven't asked anything.
crazy davey 06-02-2002, 03:45 PM I will let you know when I need some of those driving tips.I would imagine you wont be of much help to on my cj,or on my willys bodied buggy, but if I need to downgrade the size of tires to 33'' you will be the first I ask.Now go back and shine your pavement pricess!

Don't hesitate. If you come through OK call me out, I always love a challenge.
Now on to the tech, is the issue with the CJ or the buggy?

Since you didn't get it the first time, I'll point out a couple pertinent items on the Bible (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1456)
38. If you are a spineless dweeb that thinks that our style is crass and unfair, or that we are a bunch of insensitive, insulting, cheap bastards that would laugh our asses off at your missfortunes as you went through the box on the 'con. You're right. Develop thick skin, and an ability to dish it out, or go away. Remember this is the dark side.
59. if you get your panties in a bunch from our ****ing attitude........leave!

I see you calling out the TJ_freak and he replied. I'd also like to see your vehicle. I don't have a website but if you search you can find pics of my YJ so you know my sig's not BS. So let's see your CJ and buggy- also lets have some specs.....

Steve N 06-02-2002, 09:19 PM OK here's the deal, I'm not going to Flame you, add to the rant, or whatever you want.
This can go for a few complainers. Let's call it the # one unspoken rule, except I'm telling it to you.
1) if you can't contribute STF up, or go away.
2) if you can't follow that rule, we'll help with the go away part.
