2car 06-02-2002, 03:57 AM I just picked up the front disk brake gear (including Birfields), steering linkages and damper, powersteering system with tilt column, new brake master with proportioning valve, and clutch master from a 60 series LC. Cost me 500 Australian Pesos. Thats about US$275 at the moment. Is that fair?:D Ozfj40 06-02-2002, 04:42 AM i've seen wreckers charging up to $1200 for a power steering box and column. I read your Trading Post every now and then, and the number of 60s being parted out makes me drool. I have waited for months for ONE 60 to come up for parts in Canberra. It's sure paid off though. Just take off the brake lines and steering linkages, then remove the seals fron the back of the swivel housing. Next, take off the steering arms and the pivot boss from the underside. It takes a bit of fiddling with the swivel bearings, but once you have the CV in the right orientation, the whole lot just slides right off. Wreckers charge heaps.
