I have a chevy v8 and cant figure out how i am supose to hook up the msd box when i have my coil on top of my distributor? any Ideas? I have serched on the msd page and even called them I cant figure out what goes where

you follow the directions that come with it. if it didnt come with any then they ARE on the website. maybe you shouldnt be messing with this if you cant figure this out. :flipoff2::laughing:

Like the previous dude said, the instructions are on MSD's site. I've also got a copy on my computer so if you give me your E-mail, I can try to send them to you.


Edit: Nevermind, just checked and mine are for the Digital 6 Plus box. However, I'll bet the connections and wires are the same. Anyway, my instructions include a schematic for wiring to a stock GM HEI dist. so check out the MSD site and download the instruction booklet for your 6AL box. It's really not complicated.

no need to bother anymore i went out and bought a new dizzy that plugs up to the box and I got a coil that is simple to work with now all i gota do is find a good place to mount the box and coil
