MIght wanna try taking them to a shop that re-arches springs. I've never heard that they hold that lift once they are installed though. Never heard of the HF bender trick though :rasta:

I used a shop press to re-arch a few leaves in my front spring pack. Mainly wanted to match the arch between leaves to keep the springs from fanning out so much under droop. They have held the arch for 4 years. Can't beat those stock springs:

Did this HF bender trick to an old set of Procomps that had sagged. Worked okay for a while. Just be sure to apply small amounts of pressure every couple of inches - same way a spring shop does it.

The more you re-arch any spring the shorter the distance is going to get from eye to eye which means the steeper the shackle angle once they are installed. The steeper the shackle angle the rougher the ride becasue the spring as to fight against the shackle instead of work with it! Thats may only complaint with people re-arching springs becasue they usually do it to a stock spring which are not longer enough to re-arch and then the rig rides like crap!

This is essentially what I did, matching free arch among leaves from different packs. In my case matching the flatter bottom leaves to the more arched upper leaves.

Okay, just making sure you knew what you where doing.

I just can't stand those too tall to drive mud trucks with 44's and their custom re-arched spring packs (20+ of lift) that invert the shackle. Here in Oregon I see that type of crap everyday!
