I'm planning on putting high steer on my 82' yota and I was wondering if you can use a non-toyota steering box. I can get a 78' Ford Bronco steering box, but would it work?. Has anyone used a Ford box or any other brand of steering box for that matter?. If so what was involved and what was needed to install?. Thanks for the input guys.

I know some guys are using scout boxes, because the are is "backwards" on them compared to a Toy box and you can get the axle farther foward. Im not positive what the Ford boxes look like but Id imagine as long as its not a push pull box it could be adapted. use google to search the Toy forum, its outlined how in the FAQ.
