Right, it depends on the rig, etc.

Say you trailer to Loon. Have a Sami (4) or a TJ (6).

1) only go to Little Sluice and play for the weekend

2) go all the way through to Lake Tahoe (and pretend you trailer back up there)

3) how many have to use their extra gas

I typically use about 5 gallons of propane going to spider, playing in the box, and back. (SB400).

I trailer to Icehouse, then run the trail, and into South Lake Tahoe before I fill up. That usually takes about 13 gallons. That's in a CJ with a 304. Just to be safe, I always bring an extra five gallons. At the very least, it's good barter material. Your vehicles should be fine with a full tank.
