I posted this is the General4x4 but didn't do to well...
I just got my 2nd RCI seat in and will be mounting it soon. I need to get a bar added behind the seats for the 5pts and need some design help. Should I just do a straight bar across for the 5pts or some fancy diagnal stuff to give a little extra strength?

i would just do the standard accross the back bar. then maybe to look fancy add some angled peices. :rasta:

just do a stright bar across the middle between the head rests and that darker pannel there and depending on what kinda 5 points u have you can wrap them around the bar( i did this) or u can run a tab off the bar for teh bolt that holds the 5 points on . jiMMy

thats what I was planning on doing, just needed someone to agree on that. They are the shorter Simpson 5pts, not the Y-Harness. They are probably long enough to attach to the floor, but I really dont want to do that. I might do what to said and wrap them around the bar and then attach them...Thanks

BTW Jimmy have you gotten yours outa the shop yet, or are you trying to beat my time of 11 months :flipoff2:
