I recently had to replace my Ford Taurus fan after it burnt the motor.

While walking around the bone yard I came across some fleet cars they were the Ford Conture made in the 90's

I checked the fan in them and found it to be similar in size to the Taurus fan and was also a two speed three wire fan like the Taurus. The fan blade size is also the same diameter.

I picked one up and found it fit the inside the radiator of my Yj with little to no trimming. I mounted it using 4 radiator zip ties and wired it in on the high side.

I'm not sure of the amp draw on this fan or the air flow but it is working well to cool the Jeep.

Can someone find out more on the Amps this fan pulls and the air it moves?
It may be an option to use instead of the Taurus fan.

Since you already installed it, hook up a voltmeter to it and turn it on......badaboom-badabing....an answer.

If it moves enough air to cool your engine, then it is enough for you.

This fan is a three wire but it is not as strong as the Taurus fan.
I went back to the stronger fan

The Contour SVT fan is supposed to be decent. I guess it could be larger than the regular Contour fan.

The Lincoln MKVIII fan is bad ass.

I have heard the Contour SVT IS stronger than the regular but I can't find and research that states this, So basiclly it has been said but unfounded at this point. But a friend runs the CVT on his 258 CJ and it works fine.

Parts places seem to list two different parts so...
