I am looking for a place to shoot in the area. I read on the Douglas County Sheriff's Office website that the Parks and Rec has a shooting range somewhere. Is that true? Where is it? I know there is a couple Douglas County Sheriff's Dept. employees on the board here. Also, if there is any Forest Service land nearby that we can shoot at, that would be helpful as well. So far the only place I have been is up to the Capitol City Gun Club and checked out their shotgun ranges. I just moved to Gardnerville. I am probably the only lifted black Jeep with Montana plates in Gardnerville, but I could be wrong. I met a couple Sierra Stompers members at work (GE). I will make it out to the next meeting to meet the whole group. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I went and checked out the range today. I didn't know that was where the fairgrounds were either, that's nice to know. Also, I just went and registered on reno4x4.com, thanks for the heads up. That is quite a rig you have Air Sierra, I do remember seeing you the other day. Those yellow beadlocks are distinctive.

Thanks, he doesn't need a bigger head then he already has :flipoff2:

And if you ever want to go to the range, I have some fun toys to play with. The pistol range was just redone a few months ago, I like what they've done with it.

It makes our qualifications for work better and we now have a better variety of scenarios we can set up too.

The Stompers are a good group of guys. The Carson Valley Days parade is this weekend. If you come to the meeting on Thurs there will be info on it. Unfortunately, I have to work and will miss the parade again this year:( I'll be working dayshift but not assigned to a parade detail. Hopefully I'll get to come by and see everyone in the morning before they start
