: Steering arm stud size/thread pitch DToy 06-02-2002, 07:28 PM Done several searches, but I haven't been able to find out what size and thread pitch the steering arm studs are(the studs that hold the steering arm to the knuckle. The previous owner of my axle for my SAS stripped one out, so I need to know what size helicoil to buy. Thanks. Bjowett 06-03-2002, 07:58 AM Don't recall the size... the pitch is probably 1.00. It may be easier to simply find a new knuckle... it's not a good place to mess with strength.
