I have two carbs, both have been rebuilt, one of them fuel leaks around the accelerator pump rod that comes out of the top of the carb, the other only one venturi sprays fuel...

So Now between the PNP carb and rebuild kits I'm down $50. Yes you can rebuild a Q-jet easily, yes I had guys that have been doing this for years double check me and make sure it was done right, but most carbs are 20+ years old and some wear and tear is expected...So If I can just throw a little cash down, and get one with a one year I'll be good...and I can get some $$$ back on these two I have sitting in the garage now...

I have the 3-87a from Autozone. Mine was like $99 here in Ar. It runs great, not quite as good off throttle as the holly/edelbrock but spanks ass everywhere else.

Will find a junkyard accelerator cable next and turn that sucka backwards!

How are you gonna turn a q-jet backwards??? I mean I know you can but the intake isn't designed for that...

Guess i'll order my carb tommorow.
