I have a 1993 Ford E150 5.0 with fuel problems. I changed out the fuel relay under the hood. I took out and put back in several fuses from the fuse box under the dash. After I did that the van started. I turned it off and it would not start again. I cannot hear the electric fuel pumpin the gas tank turning on when I turn the ignition on. What could cause this problem other than the fuel pump itself ?

Thanks

Tim

maybe the inertia switch, probably not likely though. check the fuses again, could be electrical

its a switch that detects a crash and shuts off the fuel pump. its usually under the dashboard. On my b2 its under the dashboard on the passenger side. it might be in a similar spot. if you have a chiltons it will tell you.

it was the fuel pump
