If I make a sight glass with a plexiglas cover for my fuel cell, will it hold up to the gasoline? Here is a pic of what I have made so far. The small groove is for a 1/8" O-Ring. It will be welded to the side of my cell, and will have an aluminum cover bolted over the plexi for a clamp and protection.

So far I only have about 2 hours invested. To cut the plexi and the alum cover should only be about another 2.
I dont want to use a sender and gauge cause that is just more stuff that can fail on the trail, and cause that is how everyone else is doing it :D
Oh ya, and cause I can :flipoff2:

I looked in my Chemical resistance chart and Polycarbonate has a A rating for gasoline.
They have the same chart on line as well:

Thank you! That is what I was looking for. Also found that I can use either buna n or viton o-rings. I'll be putting that one im my favorites.
