I've got a small block chevy in a YJ, I have 1-5/8" block hugger headers on it right now, anyone know where I can buy a set of 1-3/4" headers for it?
Summit racing said they do not make 1-3/4" block hugger style headers. I hate to shell out the money for custom :shaking:

Do a Google search on SBC 1 3/4" headers and you'll find them. (e.g.http://s10v8.carshopinc.com/product_info.php/products_id/46985/CS13
BTW: The bigger tubes and the 3" collectors are great for top end HP, but will take you the wrong way on bottom end grunt.
PS: Today is Wednesday, but with Monday's holiday, it's kinda like Tuesday. :shaking:

Just buy the Heddman headers for about $170 in steel or the titanium coated for $300 fit is perfect for YJ or TJ with SBC they angle back at bottom.

Short big tube headers are gonna flat kill your low to mid range torque. Whats your combo??

Who said anything about slow...... I used to have an s-10 that's do 170+ with a .030 over 10.5/1 350 edelbrock performer cam and intake holley 750 SINGLE feed carb and small tube headers .... when I was building it I wanted a dual carb tunnel and the biggest cam and header I could get.. Luckily an old man at the local speed shop kinda took me under his wing and talked me into that setup and the thing ran like a stock engine with gobs of torque just off idle..... it's not about speed it's about drivability..... this IS a crawling web site.... there are folks here who do things other than crawl but if you don't specify then it is natural to assume that you don't know what you're doing... My point was not so much that you were wrong but that with the info provided we couldn't give you tech advise...... What's that you say? you didn't want tech advise just some damn headers....Well if THAT be the case then it doesn't belong here and you should just call up summit or jegs.... they'll just billya and mail em whether they work well for ya or not
ciao

Bro there is no way an s-10 pick up went 170+ with an tiny edelbrock cam and dual plane manifold.......It takes a shitload of power to hit 170 in an non aerodynamic rig. Alot more than a 300Hp 350 smallblock is gonna do.

believe what you want..... and a 350 with the proper heads can make way more than 300 hp ..... anyhow the point is that you don't need bigtube headers unless you're running a high rpm engine which isn't worth a shit for trails woods or rocks

I totally agree with the header statement....small tube is where is at for most all off road and street applications.
