Dennis 06-02-2002, 11:50 PM I contemplating a gear change. I was wondering what would be more important. According to the gear calculators, my choices are separated by the number of pinion teeth. Would I be better of with a stronger pinion ( more teeth ) or lower gear. Get a good quality gear set and concentrate more on your gearing needs rather than strength. mytzlflick 06-03-2002, 01:22 PM early bronco had a rc44 in the front? thats news to me I htought those came only on fullsizes? if you buy a quality gearset and set it up carefully you should be fine. I imagine the u-joints will still fail before the ring and pinion. | |
