Hey there fellas. I recently took my 35x16 boggers off the rims and found that they were falling apart. I mean realy falling apart. I crawl often, and run them about 8 to 10 psi on the trails. *25 psi on the street* Inside of the tire, the inner rubber is flaking off. Badly. Like is bubbling off in large patches. The center of the tire has a crack in the rubber running all the way around. But again this is only on the inside of the tire. Outside, they appear fine. Besides the chunky lugs and sidewalls. :D

Is this a common problem with boggers? Or am i just abusing them too mutch?

interco was having a couple rubber issues a while ago but I've yet to hear about this as defect. you will find that w/ out impropper break in the tires will fall apart but boggers are ussually hard to mess up especially like that. I'd toss them back in interco's face. if they still have decent tread then you may get a prorate and be able to get new ones if they don't just straight warranty them. Good luck I had problems w/ 37 ssr's and it was like pulling teeth w/ 4wpw. Mike from BnT helped me handle those whores, but they will never get my business again.

oh yea and if you did get them at 4wpw and they say the tires are not meant for off-road abuse (like they told me) grab one of their magazines and slap their fucking add in their face!!!! :D I made that ass I was dealing with silent! he couldn't say any more :D

I wish i could give interco sh!t over them, but i bought them from a friend when they had 50% tread. And he got them from sombody who bought them from a parts store. in other words, i aint got no recept. :P Ill email interco about the rubber problem, and who knows. At least ill get some info. Wait, who am i kidding. Doubt they will give me the time of day let alone a rubber report. Ill get some pictures before i remount them.

That's a very common thing with boggers. Both of my sets did that. Keep running them, they won't give you any problems.

ROTFLMAO! Oh god i love that excuse :D:D Its as if you get a lift kit, and the disclamer notes its not to be used offroad. Jeez.
I cant help but also laugh over that wrangler rubicon addition. Its fancy $3,000 warranty is VOID if you take it off road. Hehehe.

Neckstr, thanks for the info. Glad to know that this is common. Well, not realy, but still i feel better.

The thin rubber coming off the inside of the tire is perfectly normal as far as I have seen with boggers - no worries there.

But man - you say you bought them used, with 50% tread, and you are complaining about the tires now? Sheesh

I just pulled mine off Friday to put the MT/r's on. I noticed the same thing. Didn't seem to have any affect on the inner runbber, no cracks or anything like that. They have about 7k miles on them so are at about 50%. One of them had like a sheet of rubber peeling off inside. I though maybe it was just a factory over splat or something. Didn't look like it was any big deal to me.
