: Clocking a 205

Is there a clocking ring/plat able for a np205 to a 465-4speed-with granny low??/Do i need a clocking plate to move my transfer case down not up?
any info. thanks

you can probably look around for one with a round faced case, and see what you may find.

the racetrack pattern isnt very usable in a clocked position, unless you figured out a way to clock the adapter by cutting it, turning it, and rewelding it. Since its cast iron, I doubt that it would hold up if you did get it welded.

the round faced pattern should be clockable, providing your willing to drill and tap all of the holes yourself.

i think www.northwestfab.com makes a clocking ring, if not look under the vendors section...i know i've seen someone making one...

You need to rotate down? I just ordered a clocking plate off of e-bay that will allow me to clock up 3 or 6" but I don't think you can clock down with it.
