Your missing the yoke or flange ya NUT! The seal is held in by friction. As long as you have your snap rings in place...only should be 1...your all set. Use locktite on the threads when putting your yoke or flange on and use some axle grease on the seal's lip to help lubricate it.

**** Is that blue thing the ONLY seal for this outer piece?

The blue part with the rubber inner is the only seal. When you put the flange or yoke in it will seal against it keeping the fluids in. Looks good!
Was it easier than you thought?

There is also a black star looking rubber thing that slips down over the threaded part. It seals the yoke nut.

Don't be gettin' technical on me, I can't understand those technical terms! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I'll tell you this, I know what a damn pump and shift rail are now! you leave the spring off the shift rail and you get pissed. You don't connect the pump to the pickup before you get it all put back together and you get pissed again!
