WEll after smashing several fingers, numerous bleeding knuckles, a pulled calf muscle, hyper extended shoulder, a hole in my right ring finger, and the tip of a razor blade going into my left index finger I can finally say I am done with my engine.

Got the old head back from the Machine shop (Thanks to Good Heads in Roseville). Worked all day Sunday and got everything back in. Adjusted the vavles and the beast fired right up. So far oil is where it's supposed to be and water is where it's supposed to be. Aside from a little crap left over from the when the old head blew I am good to go. Just need to get the timing set and correct a small exhaust leak. Drove the truck to work today and it was nice to be back.

Hell no. I am never doing this again. If this engine blows I am parting the truck out.

I have to get it smogged after I fix the exhaust leak. Those damn stock gaskets suck ass. I have to put my other gasket on that I got from Thorley.
