Siberian Husky. Nice calm temperment. Had only a choke chain collar on. Was sitting near the big mudhole below the 197/198 trail.

On Saturday afternoon someone on CB channel 4 mentioned they had lost their dog but did not give any contact info and could not be reached later when we found the dog. We gave it food and water and left it tied to our camper all day Sunday when we were on the trail. We were hoping its owner would come by and pick it up. Our camper was in the day use parking lot so the dog was in plain view of anyone driving by, however, it was still there when we got back from wheeling. We left a note on the main reader board at the entrance to Evans Creek when we left on Sunday afternoon.

Anyone know whose dog this is?

PS This is a very nice laid back and calm dog. If his owner isn’t found in two weeks and someone else is interested…contact me.

I noticed that some of the cascade 4x4 club was on channel 4, if anyone know if they heard or saw or know the people, please let them know.
Thanks.:(

I'm paranoid about loosing my dog. If you have a dog of your own I highly recommend getting the micro chip put in it's shoulder. If you find a dog take it to your local vet and see if they can scan it to identify it's owner. I found a dog recently and had it back in it's owners hands in less than an hour thanks to the chip.

I know what you mean. I heard some talk about the idea of parents having something like that done to their kids. I can just imagine the long-term privacy issues that could come up. But I still feel better about my dog having it.
