specs on my chit in that pic are:
TPI 305 running megasquirt DIY FI, sm465, np205, 14b and 10 bolt (yes!), 102" WB, mismatched junk roller tires.

I'm picking up a new drivetrain next weekend, TBI 350, 465, 205, d60/14b 4.10s, some 40" boggers and eaton beadlocks. Gonna stretch the wheelbase to 108" and lower her about 2-3".

Hopefully have her up and running next summer and get to meet some of yall.

My big dumb mud truck. 1979 f150. hp44 front, aussie locker (thanks to independent4x), 3.73 gears. 9 inch rear, minispool, 3.73s. 35/15/15 swampers, 351m/c6/np205, gotta mount up my warn 8274.

In the shots with the hood up, the white 73 doesn't have an alternator. We'd just got the motor over in it, a nicely built 460. Ten minutes later, he fired it up, put it in gear, goosed the throttle and blew the bearing caps to pieces in the rear end, while snapping a front axleshaft. Oops.

Did great! The lift springs need to get swapped for something else (YJ kit) cause they are stiff as hell, but otherwise it is fine. It's not like wheeling a V8 (which I'm used to), you need to be in the right gear. However, its weight/gears/locker/33's proved to be a great combo. It just floats over everything!

Here is my new toy. I did have a nice cherokee and many might remember it when I post the picture. It lives up in Indiana now. My new toy is almost ready to roll and has all the main goodies. 4 points are here waiting on racing seats to arrive. I am building a set of tube fenders and will post those up when finished.
