I have Just been handed the keys to my fathers old project truck. I want to make it one mean truck but i dont know where to start. It has a straight 6, 3 inch lift with 33"s, long bed with no sides. If any one has any ideas, please let me me know cause i do not know where to start.

First off you want to decide what kinda shape is it in, secondly where and how hard do you want to wheel it, third but not last how much can you afford to put into it.

If it's a pre-80 f250 lift and tires accordingly, gears and lockers, and get it running right and it'll be ready to go.

If it's an 80-97 swap the front TTB setup for a solid axle from an 80-97 f-350 and then lift, tires, gears, and lockers
