Hey-

I tried the NAPA 1515 (WIX 51515) on my 22RE, twice.

On both oil changes, it appears the anti-drain back valve did NOT retain oil like the Toyota filters do. Much easier clean up, but not good for the motor.

Going back to the over size Toyota 15600-41010 filter. I tried to save a little money, and like nornal got what I payed for-

That's wierd. I used them all the time and they always held oil in them!!! :D

I use an Oberg oil filter and is has NO anti drainback valve.

But I think my main bearings are getting loose as the oil pressure is not as high as it used to be (still well within spec).

Or maybe its just 340K on the bearings :)
