Yeah, they make steel adapters cheaper than AA. Someone just broke one, but fixed it.

A group of my friends use these exclusively for mating sm 420's to any t-case. They are a stub shaft style adapter as opposed to an internal one. They are inexpensive and work great. Beefy steel with an easy to adapt mount. they have used them for years and haven't had a failure. Rube makes them in his shop when you order them.

If you call and are able to get ahold of him, please ask how much for a dana 300 to sm420 adapter and post here. I want to make sure the price didnt go up since I last checked.

luv2 put a rube between a sm420 and a dana 20 and one weld leaked and the bottom bearing cover actually rubbed the bolts on the lower shaft of the tranny and some other probs explained in another post possibly due to a mis matched bull gear but he has not been able for almost two weeks to get a hold of him to ask him some questions and possibly get a little help....if I bought AA and was very happy and would do it again based on his experience with this guy,,,
