alright so heres the scoop... over the course of last week/this week i took my 35" mtr to american tires to have a nail removed... well they ended up having to buy a new tire (sweet... it was free to me) well that being said, they ended up misplacing my wheel i brought in with the 35"mtr.:( no big deal they said they would look around cause the guy who took it off was not in til monday. so monday came and went and they said they had completley lost my wheel:mad3: well i took one of my other ones in and they said they would replace it with the same type...

come to find out they no longer make my type of wheel... so now american tire is paying for a whole new set!!:D:smokin: poor bastards... so what do you guys think i should get? i had aluminum 15x10 rims, i might have to see if i could slip away with some beadlocks:) either way i need to go in and pick out a new set. just wondering what you guys would recommend ex: width of rim/ steel or alum.??

I like steel, if you bend them you can pound them back into shape with a hammer, aluminium just breaks.

Ya it will break BUT that is hard to do if you have beadlocks on your aluminium rims to begin with :flipoff2: Go 15x10

It usually just pinches off some but I've yet to bend or break one, steel ones never end up true. Personally I'd never run steel if I can help it..

My rims are lethal to the touch but they are straight!

I like steels because of the durability. I never liked the inserts aluminum wheels needed for the lug nuts. Also, weld on beadlocks are cheaper and easier to do yourself.

If you are going to DIY beadlock them...they are abundant...thus cheap...etc.

Aluminum...

If you are buying pre-fabbed Beadlocks...bling...shine...etc.

I like them both.

Steel wheels are cheap. You own an IH. Therefore you are cheap, and must own steel wheels.

Aluminum will cause your IH to want to park in malls, and look :rainbow:
