Hey guys i have i have a chevy 350 with a carb. but it craps out all the time. I was playing with the Idea of going Propane injection (gotpropane.com) but i want to know if anyone has done it or knows anything about it. What are the PROS/CONS?

This is gonig to be a streetable rig so.... what are your guys thoughts?

I know its been said 1000 times but if you buy a red star you can search and this topic is all over this board. A red star was the second best money i have spent, the best money i have spent was my gotpropane kit.

If you have the cash go with a complete kit from one of our vendors on the board or you can just buy a used one off of ebay like I did. It came off a running truck so all I had to do was bolt it on and turn the key. I just wish I would have gone with Propane in the first place. No more stalling out on hill sides!

If you're going to run it on the street, you just need to make sure it's cool in your area. As in no smog or a state that allows this kind of mod. Also, a tank large enough to go the distances you would like to go.

we run 3 of our trucks on propane. straight propane, but has the ability to go to just gas too. you can feel a loss of power, and its not good for the motor, but its kind of nice to go 4 or 500 miles on a tank of 1.70 propane.

I did my 350 with the gotpropane kit and has i have loved it. Has always stayed running at all angles for me, I havent got to try upside down yet though. Has also never cut out on hard bumps or jump landings.

Did you let it warm up before you ran again? I have had this problem a few times, it fires right up, but then I have to let it get warmed up and them it runs just fine.

ok guys..i ran my truck on the property last night and flexed the shit out of it..i went up a 5 foot log and flex it to the max for my stock suspention and something fucked up and now all it does is sputter if i can get it to start//and when it does start if i tuch anything electric and the motor will stall .. the horn the lights anthing electric will stall my motor ..the only thing i could think of is a ground wire broke or altenater burnt up or somthing to that sort..has anyone had this problem before?
