: Pic's TJ Prorock Hi-steer
M/C MAN 06-03-2002, 10:17 PM Here is what the hi-steep for my TJ looks like so far. I haven't finished yet, but think a few braces and I will finish welding it up. The drag link is only temp until I get a stock pitman arm, and then I will build one like the tie rod with 3/4 heims and hi angle incerts for the 3/4 heims.

Sharp 06-03-2002, 10:19 PM really sweet setup!!
M/C MAN 06-03-2002, 10:21 PM I think because of the angle of the drag link and track bar I should have no bump steer at all:D

Im4yotas 06-03-2002, 11:03 PM That entire front end looks top notch. So why the weak ass pro comp at's?
M/C MAN 06-03-2002, 11:08 PM I just use them to roll the rig in the garage, that's about all they are good for. Just waiting to send my wheels out to get beadlocked and get the 37's mounted.:D

I love it when people drop cash on their trail rig:beer: As was said before that front end is a work of art (steering included:D ). What is that out back (HP60)?
M/C MAN 06-04-2002, 08:39 AM Another Dynatrac Rev 60:D The whole idea is to have a bulit rig so I can drink more
Brawler 06-04-2002, 08:42 AM That is that new d60 dynacrap makes isn't it? That cover looks like a bunch of flat steel welded together. I really like the cover tera has for the d50. That thing if beef. Sweet set-up.
M/C MAN 06-04-2002, 08:46 AM I don't think that a cast cover has anything on plate steel:smokin:
elf_cruiser 06-04-2002, 08:55 AM Looks Sweet! I hear ya about the heim inserts, definitely a must on steering, PolyPerformance (http://www.polyperformance.com) can help you out with those. They ship fast!

Alaska ZJ 06-04-2002, 10:57 AM Looks like shit. I will be down in two days to help drag it to the scrap heep, I will rent the trailer and you don't have to even worry about going to the dump. "I'll do for you":flipoff2:
That is very nice work. One of the cleanest setups to be on this board in awhile. Gonna drive like a prince I am sure!
Grim Reaper 06-04-2002, 11:00 AM That's nice Will it ever be done? it's too clean. I know it doesn't run cause there are no oil spots on the floor under it :)
Yes I'm giving you a hard time wish I had the cash for a sweet axle like that. Now how the hell do you keep your shop that clean? Only thing I own right now that isn't leaking something is my wifes truck and it sits on the driveway.
M/C MAN 06-04-2002, 02:33 PM Yep, that's right. If I have something that leaks I put it in my wifes garage:D
lsloth 06-04-2002, 02:44 PM TRE's and Hiems
I have searched but not seen a side by side review. What are the pro's and con's of each? I know hiems cost alot more, but what do you really get with the added cost? I am working on SAS for my tacoma and went with TRE's because of price and they seem to be alot more common.
