are the ones they put in the chevy cars the same as the 2wd truck versions? thanks. :usa:

You can make the 2wd verison 4wd by swapping the tailshaft and tailshaft housing, but the cases may be thinner....

i'm more wondering about strength. are the car ones the same strength? as in if a person wanted to run divorced case, etc. thanks guys.

Sorry, I know I have heard that the best 700 to use is the ones with the "K" case... That is one oout of an 89+ fullsize 4x4..
