The time has come to start ordering flex joints for my front link setup. What would you guys recommend/not recommend going with? I've looked at currie's johhny joints, ballistics joints, but I really can't see what the differences are. I would like to find the best value, the less expensive the better.

Would it be ok to run poly scout leaf bushings at one end of the arms? Would they be strong enough?

It will be a 3 link with panhard setup D60 and alot of power.

School me.

I'm running the 1'' bore 1 1/4 shank heims on my lowers and 3/4'' bore 7/8 shank on my uppers. As for the tube I'm running 2 1/2 .500 wall DOM on the lowers and 1 1/2 .250 wall DOM on the uppers. I'm getting all my stuff from a vendor on here by the name of TrailerGuy (Aaron). The rated static load on these is just under 80K!!

I'm using Curries at $35.00, Have no idea the rating, but I won't be the one to break it...

I'm using TeraFlex's Large Nodular flex joints. They have 1 1/4" fine thread shanks and are all forged. They are about 2x what the Curries are (at about $70 per pop) but come with the jam nut and tube insert. The thing I like about them is that they have 5" of shank.

I'm leaning toward the johnny joint setup. normal 2.5 JJ at one end and forged at the other.

Ballistic fab is out of flex joints till may 25 and I really don't see an outstanding need to spend 60 bucks for just the joint.

If I were to go heims, they would probably be those huge ass ones. I don't see them showing up as cheap as flex joints anywhere though, not once you add missaligment shit to them. still a thought though. how much did you pay for those?

With misaligns, tube inserts and jam nut ehh? not a bad deal. I may have to get ahold of this trailer guy.
