Decided to line my rear bumper up with the body a little better.

Old way it looks. Off 3 inches due to 3" BL

Mounting tabs cut off. Going to raise the bumper part 3 inches up.

Ghetto way of raising bumper. The strenght I don't worry about. Its 3/8 plate stick welded on with 7018.

I cut the triangle off the mounts but didn't get a picture of that.

Here is the finished product for now. I was unable to get one bolt back in due to holes lining up but I needed to stop for the day.

Next weekend I will be grinding the welds to redo some of them. In no way was the welds not good but just dont like the look of them. Then enlarging the bolt holes so I can drop it 1/8 in down so the gate doesn't hit it. Trimming some of the extra metal off.

Fun stuff to do alone.
