I have an '83 Scrambler with a sb400 in it. i currently have a NP-435 transmission that is driving me nuts. i bought a hydraulic clutch kit for it from novakconversions.com, but had to fudge it to mount to the bellhousing. now the stock jeep master cylinder pushrod that goes to the pedal is bent and can't support the job-- what tranny should i have that has an external clutch system already on it, what bellhousing do i need, and do i need any special adapters? i am trying to teach myself on this, and am about ready to sell the jeep to the scrap yard!
