I am currently runinning two batteries in my cruiser and need to replace them. I was thinking about going with optima and was wondering if one Yellow top would be enough to replace both of my current batteries? I am running a winch and some extra lights. Or should I go with one red top and by a cheap second batttery to help with the load?

The yellow top will be fine. I would either run 2 Optimas or 1 Yellow top ;)

Look in your area for "Blems", I got mine for Wilbur with a 1 year warranty for $40. (Red Top)

here on the base they want 99 for red tops and 135 for the yellow tops

They should give you a bigger break than that for living on the God forsaken base ;)

Pep Boys here by my house has them for about $20 cheaper a battery than 4WPW.;)
