: 1st crossing at Fordyce!!
Disco 06-04-2002, 09:13 AM I don't have any pic's yet but the first crossing was Ball Deep. The water came over my hood and some got into the the bed of my truck. If you go up there the water is much deeper at night than first thing in the A.M. Get IT!!!! :D:D:D
Aggro 06-04-2002, 10:35 AM I don't think it's too deep, but whatever floats your boat. pardon the pun... you must have small tires!!:D
Fordyce Creek Rel Fordyce Lake (est) 1:00pm 350 Expect 350 cfs until Fri, Jun 7
#3 gets fun around that water level.
Grim Reaper 06-04-2002, 11:19 AM Ball deep in the driver seat or ball deep standing in it? If it was standing sounds like your truck is a low rider :)
http://coloradok5.com/albums/albuq59/aaa.jpg That's a little over 4 ft.
Dan-H 06-04-2002, 11:26 AM Also depends on how low your balls hang :flipoff2:
we want Pics :bounce: :bounce2:

350 cfs is what is being released from the Lake. It doesn't take into effect all the other creeks and streams flowing into the river. :)
BTW: I only run 35 Boggers but the water came over my buddies hood also and he's runnin 36's and a 10" lift.
Aggro, crossing #3 is cake, #4(out the shortcut) get a little deep. :D:D

The Pirates ran it a couple years ago at 480 CFS... Remember the pic of Lance and Timbo, standing on Timbo's boggers in the river, waiting for the rescue winch.:eek: I stayed home for that one cause the previous year it was only 220 cfs and I got water up to my butt in my 58 Willys. I woulda been sunk at 480... :rasta:
Old Scout 06-04-2002, 01:50 PM  :D
redrangie 06-04-2002, 02:23 PM so, what your saying there Old Scout, is that sometimes it's good to not be a lightweight rig?????

DCruiser138 06-08-2002, 09:58 AM we did the 1st on wed aft. then the next day did the 2nd and third....turned around at meadow lake cause the road was PACKED with snow and we were frankly sik of snow after our last trip, so we turned around and went back thru the trail. it came up to the fenders of the soa cruisers on 35s, but didnt seem too deep. we tried to stay on a high line for sure and faired pretty well. its way sketchy though....driving thru a river gets nutty! :rasta:
SeaBass44 12-20-2003, 03:54 PM saw Timbo selling his boggers, and thought since he only posted 11 times in several years I would run a search..........found this cool pic of his tires:D well you can't see them, but looks like Lance is standing on one.:p
