I am thinking about using an AW4 tranny from a '96 cherokee in my current project. How dependable and reliable are these transmission? Do they do well on angles? What mods, if any, would be recommended for offroad use besides a cooler and maybe a manual kit from www.AWshifting.com. Thanks for any help.

I have a separate cooler, but no shift kit. My works, and works well. It's never let me down. Oh...and angles?
