Heres a pretty noob question, but I am a noob to dana 60's. What gear ratios are people running? I'm building some 60's for my Toyota, detroit rear, arb front and trying to determine what gear ratio to run. I've got a toy 5 speed and dual cases and was running 5:29's in my toy axles. Any breakage concerns going lower with the 60's? Thanks for the info:beer:

Go with the 5.38s or a 5.13

I know a few that run as low as 6.17's in them without issues, it would just depend on how you geared the dual cases and what you're wanting to do with the rig.

The front case hase stock toyota gearing and the rear is 4.7:1. This truck get used for mainly rock crawling. I know with the Toy gearsets some people say that if you go lower than 5.29 then the pinion is too small and therefor weak. Just wondering if the 60's have that same problem. Thanks for the help

I think that you can go as deep as 6.17's and be fine. The something will probably give in the Yota case first.
