I got it straight from a goodyear gemini shop that they are all the same compound. Also after checking both in person I could feel/see no difference. I think if someone claims a competition compound they are mistaken.

I bought a used set MTRs (ARCA( and 1 new one from a retailer and see and fell no difference.

I got my 37's at a local GY and he claimed the same tire is used in comps as they sell...if that's true I don't know. I really like my MTR's so far though :D

My main reason was my 'Runner is still my DD and I bought 36" SX's during the SAS, then realized a tow rig was not in my near future. They weren't to good on the road everyday, so I sold them and got the MTR's....so far so good.

PS sell my those Champions when you go to the 8 lug set up ;)

Ordered mine today, $175 out the door. Mud, rocks, snow -- they work great. Three friends of mine are running them on their Toys and kicking ass with them.

Why are you selling the 44?

If you grove your SX's you'll notice a buttload more traction. Trevor did his and noticed a great improvement.
