So Its time for a new steering gear. I've been reading some old posts and apparently the J20 box has a 3.5" bore instead of the factory YJ 3" bore. I was considering buying a gear from my local auto parts store for a 78' J20. Its about $45 cheaper than the YJ gear they sell.

Will the J20 box bolt right up or is there modification required?
