The 94 4.3 I have came stock with a remote filter/cooler setup that I don't want to use. I tried unthreading the pipe nipple out of the adapter but it must be glued or welded in because it will NOT come out. I tried the dealer for an adapter but the only one they had listed doesn't fit. Are there any year v6/v8's that I can take an adapter from or can I use a regular npt nipple from the hardware store? This is the only thing keeping me from starting this bitch and it's pissing me off :mad3:

If I'm reading this right, you want to run the filter on the block? As long as it's not still in a 4wd s-series vehicle you can get this nipple from the dealership. Got one last year and it was about $8.50. It went on a 94(CPI) 4.3 from a 4 door Blazer so I'm 99% sure it should work for you.

SWEET! That's exactly what I needed! The motors in a buggy now and i didn't want to use all the hoses and bs just for the filter.

you can usually use the nipple in the remote adapter, but if you tryed to get it out and it wont come I guess its time for a new one
