TJpwr 06-04-2002, 03:46 PM This is all I stayed for today. They also ran the hill climb but I over heard Ned Bacon saying it was going to be lame so I did not stay for that and the ride and drive. Going back later so more pics then.

TJpwr 06-04-2002, 03:48 PM Mud Truck surprised me with it's flex and scared the shit out of everyone when it gave out three huge backfires when he shut it down:D
Brandon 06-04-2002, 03:49 PM I got over 250 pics from yesterday, but nothing too exciting - just rig pics

Frog busted less than one minute from when he unloaded from his trailer, I got a video clip but I gotta upload it all from my camera still. He got it fixed but that is a rough start!
How did the canucks with the red cheby do on the ramp?
Brandon 06-04-2002, 04:01 PM I think it is Jason? Gawd I am bad at names but mudtruck has no rock experience but his truck seems to work well, although I have a feeling the carb is gonna get him..
Lotsa propane rigs there. I dunno, the "bronco" has my pick but who knows. What I will say is I spend the day chit chattin and I'd be glad to share the trail with any of em, great group of guys!
white knight 06-04-2002, 04:01 PM Very true. Thanks for the pics and keep them coming :)
jdjanda 06-04-2002, 04:05 PM How about an update on Team Abba?
How are you guys getting in, I'd like to head down Thursday and help out team Abba, if you get a chance see if they need anything and I'll bring it.
Joe
Brawler 06-04-2002, 04:07 PM Before we get twenty seven posts about TTC, i say the moderator makes this a sticky so all info about TTC goes into one post. Oh, that was a suggestion by the way. :D
SeaBass44 06-04-2002, 04:08 PM my rig seems small now:emb4: :emb4: :emb4: :emb4: :emb4:
white knight 06-04-2002, 04:09 PM Good idea on making this a sticky. That looks like a 30 degree ramp? Am I correct?
Brandon 06-04-2002, 04:13 PM Abba was making a new trac bar on Monday, nuttin like fabbin on location :)
Nice Scout, HUGE!

Nice Scout, HUGE!
Are they using this ladder to get in and out of some of the rigs?
CaptainFleXJ151 06-04-2002, 04:52 PM Does the Exaxt K5 have 42" TSL's on it? I remember seeing it with 44" tires. That ground clearance looks sick!
Tell me more about the ride with the Michilin's and Rockwell's. I don't remember seeing it in the magazine.
it looks like the mog truck managed to get some swampers for the event.. that should help him way better than the dick cepek's .... I hope the canadian's take the trophy!

Rob (Exaxt K5) yanked out the plastic and bought a set of 44" TSLs just before he left. The tires look great on the truck.

Brandon 06-04-2002, 09:01 PM By the way, big thanks to Toby Harrel (sp?) the guy with the hat in that pic above for the invite. Matt from West Texas off road (aka lakerat) invited me to be part of his time, he was alternate #1 and unfortunately for him everyone showed up :(
Matt is spotting for the MudTruck, a truck that I was impressed with - especially for a guy that drove out here with his mom!

That shit really pisses me off. A few years back they let the sniper run his avalanche stickers. Fawkin politics. Oh well, all he has to do is take off the door skins. But oh the mud slush.
