I have no idea what I broke. I have not wheeled it a month or so. I have a TH350/NP203/DANA 44 up front. Anyway I went to pull out of a parking spot and when I turned the wheel and started to move it poped and the front end made a chatter and the wheel shook. I stopped and pulled forward it did not do it. SO I pulled out and went on my way. My truck does weird shit all the time but this is the weirdest. It did it again later that day turning into a parking spot but quit when I stoped and then pulled on into the spot. I drove it the 20 miles home last night and it did not do it anymore I checked the gear in the diff and t-case and it is all good. I thing I have a hub chattering on the right side but is has been for a while. I want to change to manual hubs but have not talked to enough people to find out how to do it. The other thing it is doing when I go to pull from a light or stop sign it kinda shakes/stutters but the motor is running fine. I am pretty new to this 4x4 thing I ride dirtbikes and used to drag race until it started getting me into to much trouble. But I don't want to replace a T-case our front axle for no reason. This weekend I am pulling the front apart to see if I chuncked the spiders. My other thing is I heard about this kit to turn a NP203 into a part time unit. Were do I get this kit how much is it and how hard is it to put in.

Definitely a part time kit will be a great idea............might be as simple as you had a full time bind that you felt/heard.
www.coloradok5.com has all the K5 info on the planet............

This might be an idea. I had shuddering really bad when I did an axle swap last month. I couldn't understand it. What it turned out to be was a combination of two things. First, my u-bolts were too loose so I was getting axle wrap. And second the guys sold me the wrong u-joint. If you have bad u-joints try and swap those things out because they'll cause slop which shows up with vibration. Another trouble point ended up being that my shocks weren't tight enough. Anyway, tighten all your stuff up and good luck. Sometimes the biggest problems can be the easiest to fix.

you can order the kit from milemarker, but it comes 2 different ways. one is the complete shaft,,and the other are 4 cogs that replace the spider gears. both are easy to install. the shaft costs more,,,but it is stronger

Thanks for the info. I think it was the T-case I played with the linkage and shifted all the gears several times to make sure it was adjusted all good. It has gone away and has not done it since. I also added lucas gear oil to it and the high speed and deacceleration whine has gone away. I would like to know more info about this full time to part time kit. I have a feeling it is going to be a pain. Thanks to those who helped out
