I am sure he could, but welding that over the cover to the housing would make removing the cover kinda.. well... impossible :p

Seeing how he goes by "Fabricator" I assumed he could "fab" one for me and I'm sure FlatFuck was meaning the same. :D

Ya I knew what you ment, how DRM thinks you 2 know so little as to think a toy cover would fit is beyond me:rasta: I guess he is just padding, how else you think he got over 15,000 posts?

I believe that DRM ment that once you welded a plate on you would not be able to remove the cover to get at your inner parts.

We understand what DRM said. We know that that cover skid willl not work on a D44 because the cover is a removable type. I just wonder why DRM thinks theses 2 thought it would fit...any rokie knows the difference in the 2...they without stating the obvious said they would take one made for a d44, I'm sure fabracator could make anything you asked, he makes bumperes, beadlocks, tube doors, builds 3 and 4 links coil conversions, anything and does sweet work!

seriously though, you really didnt have to shave the inner diameter to get it to fit over the pumpkin shape on the standard 8" cap??

I'm not going to search up the link cause I know the caps that are just over 8" fit better, no "shaving" to get a nice fit.
