i have a 87 yj. like to change the rollbar to a famliy bar. what is the diff between the 92 to 95 rollbars from a 96 or newer. i found one by my house but the guy thinks it is from a 96.

Well....since they didn't make 96's.....I'd be interested to see what it looked like. :D

what's your point.... yj ran through the 95 model year then tj came out for the 97 model year.. no 96's were produced... if the bar is from a leaf spring wrangler it will work... 97 and up coil spring probably not

See above, what he said!!! One difference between the models you refer to is the front floor plate of the rollbar and the way it bolts to the floor, and the tubs a different.
