Our neighbor at work here in Sunnyvale, CA is trying to ship a large industrial oven from Jackson, MI to Sunnyvale, CA. I told him I'd put out the feelers and see if we can get some help from the almighty PBB. He does a lot for our racing effort, so I thought I'd see what I could come up with.
The oven weighs 4,500 lbs, and measures 12'x5' but it's 10' tall. There's another box that would probably fit in the bed of a fullsize. Needs to be tarped, but the seller will load it all for you. The quotes he's gotten so far for a low-boy are absolutely ridiculous, so he's willing to pay the gas and a fee to make the trip you were going to take free or maybe even profitable. You'd need a decent full-size truck and a flat trailer at the minimum.
No firm time frame really but would prefer the next two weeks or so (by July). He also said he'd be willing to trek east some & pick it up if you're not coming all the way to the west coast.
I know it's a lot to ask, so thanks for looking. :smokin:
