Where the hell can I find 8 lug spindles. Swapping my 6 lug D44 to 8 lug and the local yard wants 150 for old ones. Can you buy them online anywhere?
Hubs I found, same with calipers and rotors but can't find the caliper brackets. Anyone know where to buy those online at to?
Thanks!!

8 lug spindles?
What year is your 6 lug 44 and what's it out of? The '78 and newer Waggie and Chevy 44's have the same spindles that any 8 lug 44 has. Also you can use all of the eight lug parts from any Chevy 10 bolt on your 44. Everything bolts on. I have '81 Chevy 10 bolt 8-lug outers on my '73 Chevy 44. Found them by putting a couple wanted ads on the bulletin boards. Have you tried that yet?

No I have no cmegroup I will try that now.
My D44 is from a 73 Chevy pickup. On another thread about the swap there was talk about after a certain year something changed, bearings or something. Any truth or will any 8 lug D44 or 10 bolt parts adapter bolt on style to my D44?
Thanks!

Yep, the mid-77 and up Chevys and Jeeps have a larger inner bearing area on the spindle. You can use any Chevy or Jeep 44 spindle with those larger spindles. Doesn't matter if they are from an eight lug or six lug. Yes the 10 bolt stuff does bolt on to a 44, no adapter needed. As I already mentioned my eight lug parts are from a 10 bolt and worked fine
Edit: Another possible source is Jeep J20 pickups. They are eight lug and use the same parts as the Chevy eight lug. You could probably look for Dodge parts also, although I'm not positive on that one.
